Some dude named Resiyoyoyo made this kick ass chart a long time ago, primiarly for the people into modding the games
but this information is pretty valuable to our breed aswell

although im pretty sure he made this chart surrounding the english version of the game it is still pretty accurate and relevant to the JP sourcenext version
at a first glance it might be hard to understand but there is legends at the very bottom of the charts that clear it all up

Thread title:
Nice to see some people liking my researches and putting them to good use, thanks Dchaps. Honestly, I feel kinda honored to see my stuff being used inside this community.
It's not completely finished (some specific Birkin HP for example and of course overall conclusions from analyzing the entire data) but I haven't had time in years to continue adding the rest of my findings into the charts, although I will do that at some point in the future.
In fact, I covered 7 versions of Resident Evil 2 with these charts: German, USA, UK/Europe, Spanish, French, Italian (G104 in the Enemy HP section stands for the patched german version 1.04 and so on). The remaining 3 executables will be NextSource un/patched and the PC trial, they'll be done one day, too. For you people doing speedruns it might problably not be very different, though (if I remember correctly the HP and damage values are mostly the same, but the offsets for modding are of course different).
By the way, my old promise is still up: if you have any executables which I haven't covered yet, send them to me, and I can include them into these charts as well. Just post the information on z4.invisionfree.com/Resident_Evil_1_2_3 in the respective thread (Zombiegod). I stepped back from RE modding because of my time management, but that doesn't mean, I'm not lurking from time to time on z4 :)=

Cheers,
Resiyoyoyo

According to your charts, it's exactly the same between Original/Arrange modes throughout all versions of RE2.

Basically, the Original mode is the enemy arrangements based on the Japanese console versions, where Arrange mode is the enemy arrangements based on the American and European console versions.

RE1 JPN is slightly easier than US, RE2's adjustments are exactly the same (just remixed enemy patterns), and RE3 JPN is slightly easier than US.
Actually there are a few differences between Arrange and Original making the latter slightly more challenging. Have a look at the enemy damage at http://resiyoyoyo.bplaced.com/enemy_files/RE2edam.php
On easy and normal there won't be any differences, but if you're in hard mode, enemies will inflict a bit more damage on original hard than on arrange hard. A zombie bite will cost you 45 HP on OH whereas on AH you'll only lose 37 HP. That pattern can be recognized across the whole enemy damage section.
The thing is that on Arrange, damage is calculated a bit different, but that's not outlined in the charts yet, you can only see it from looking at the different values. On a quick glance this fact could probably go unnoticed, so I wanted to be sure to inform you about this one.

This chart is great. I do wonder though how many magnum rounds can Birkin on the train take in Leon B hard, as well as the final boss in both B scenarios.. I know with how i've been doing the train fight it takes 15 usually. However, I recall getting 12 shots one time, or that was my imagination. Maybe quickshots are affecting his damage value, as well as the G5's
Damage value.
