Ive recently been hit with the urge to play resident evil again. I'd rather play the originals, resident evil and resident evil 2, but I only have the 360 and my old consoles are burried away. So code veronica x is my only choice atm.

Anyways, its been so long since Ive been played code veronica Im not exactly sure which is the optimized route. I thought it was going to come to me naturally but it didnt.

So, i was wondering if there is any site or somewhere i can see a route in jot form. Ive looked at walkthrus, speed guides, buts its just to much to read paragraph after paragraph that would be clearer in a single line. (like this OP, i guess lol.)

I didnt want to watch any speed runs, but i did anyways. I started jotting from carcis speed run on youtube.

besides the manual glitch is there any newer routes then seen in this video?

I also got my gamecube out. unfortunately im missing a piece of my ps2 power plug.

oh shit, kniferun, what's up man? I haven't seen you in forever, I'm surprised you found this place. I would type up a route, but I'm not actively running this right now. I burnt out after that youtube video.

sshplur has a faster run in 1:41:14, so you should go watch that since his route is actually more optimized. My own run uses explosive arrows for the Alexia 2 quick kill, but is actually a lot slower than sshplur's grenade route.

The thrill linked it at SDA in a RE thread, so i checked it out.

I seen ssphlurs time and very interested in watching, but I really dont like watching speed runs till I fully optimize my strats. I really just wanted an item to item route. Once I had my own strats and such squeezed i would look at speed runs for addition strats.

Most of the route i had memorized, some parts not so much. One of the big things was the 2 blue emblems. I remembered using different routes and wasnt sure what one was faster.
