Oh motherfucker, I forgot about that thread. That was like, what, 2009?

I thought REmake speedrunning was pretty much already dead by then and that nobody would make 1:26. I was also very very bad at speedrunning and thought segmented runs were the end-all-be-all.

You just want me to chop off my balls and mail them to France, don't you?

I've not seen Davis in years. :(

I miss the days when you could talk to people like Davis and MT on a daily basis and be put in contact with Shin instantly. It even seems like Shin has lost interest in maintaining his website over the past years. It took him months to host the 5:54 Lost in Nightmares run.

Shin's website is pretty irrelevant now. A fantastic reference and full of some great videos, but irrelevant.

Now he just uploads his own videos to youtube (ShinEUPOK) and ZENO does his own thing too (ZENOta1)

Yeah I agree. I guess it's just nostalgia setting in.

Btw, if you ever need to download Shin's videos for reference I found a way to bypass that .wvx streaming stuff. Just download the .wvx file and then open it up in Notepad. Embedded is a link to the actual wmv which you just copy/paste into a browser and you can directly download the wmv that way.

yeah, i think it was sshplur who taught me that years ago.  i thought about rehosting them at some point, but i found that most of them were uploaded to a channel on youku by Shin himself.

Copypaste "わいわい芸夢館" (Wai Wai Gei Yume-kan) into a search box in Youku and you should be able to find it. That's the name of Shin's site in Japanese.

Hey Eleval, one thing I just thought about, in regards to your audio desync

does the HDD you're capturing to have its own power cable hooked up to it? I might be reaching a little far, but it's a question I thought I'd ask anyway.
