So, there is a licker that would spawn in this room, the "King Plug" room, in the Leon B scenario after you grab the Blue Card Key. I usually let the licker live until I come back to it for the King Plug and shoot it down if it comes near me or block me completely, but this time I found a way to get in and out of the room with the King Plug without getting damaged or killing the licker. I sort-of got this strat down, but I'm not sure if I'm consistent with doing it. I only got this strat to work like twice. I'm going to try and explain how I did this as shown in the video above.
First, as soon as Leon enters the room, I hold "Square," "Up" on the D-Pad and tap the "Right" D-Pad so that Leon is running and turned in about a 10 degree angle to his right facing the gray pot/urn. Then, Leon should be still running and sort-of "bounce" off the pot/urn. After the "bounce," the licker that would be in the room should be rotating to it's left and turning around to find Leon. While the licker is rotating, I adjust Leon to run and place a Red Jewel in the "Woman's relief" or "chest" of the right statue of a woman. The licker should be trying to lick or attempt a slash towards Leon depending on how Leon moved. Next, after placing the first jewel, I proceed to place the next jewel, by squeezing/running between the licker and the front of the "armored" statue going towards the left "Woman's Relief." Lastly, After the little cutscene ends, I turn Leon to the right to grab the King Plug, and hold both the "Up" and "Right" buttons on the D-Pad and "Square" to make Leon run towards the door. I hold those buttons hard enough to adjust Leon to run and face straight towards the door, and I would let go of the "Right" D-pad as Leon as adjusted and has passed the licker.
