Ok I just can't get this god damn music box figured out:
So I know there are different versions, what I heard / saw is on PC the pattern is always the same: up down up up down up.
However, ON THE PLAYSTATION?? I am on ePSXe with Bio3 JAP and the pattern is ALWAYS random for me. Every button is random, each solution is random. Sometimes it's up up up down down down, on the next run it is something else completely. 100% RANDOM.
But when I compare to other speeders or the WR (dudley, Wolf), it seems the pattern is _alawys_ up down up up down up for them. WHY?!?!?! WHYYYYYYYYYYYYY I HAVE THE SAME VERSION

Im pretty sure they play the PC mediakite version, which is different from the PSX version. In the PSX version the music box puzzle is random, in the PC version its not.

It's only in the PSX version that the solutions to the puzzle are completely random. Otherwise, the solution is always UDUUDU. VMerken on GameFAQs estimated there would be 64 different solutions, but I hear there might actually only be 6... I'm not sure who said that, maybe LevelBest or someone who plays the PSX/PSN versions.

The RE3 PSX US version and early versions of Bio3 PSX JPN (1.0) have the random solutions for the music box.

The later versions of Bio3 PSX JPN (1.1) always are U D U U D U.

Threw us off as well.
