I recorded this on hard mode, though I'm pretty confident it applies to normal as well. After dodging fire mr x, I stand at an intersection where the line patterns on the floor meet. I fire 1 shot from the CM. This triggered his "clamp" attack. I run a bit further trying to perfect the distance. I then fire 2 quickshots off the CM. ran around to the right correctly to pick up the r launcher without any trouble. Overall it seems good but im still unsure of this strat's speed. I did this in a run, so it was on the fly.

Im curious what you folks think of this strat. I'm not very good at boss fights sometimes, so any input/opinions would be greatly appreciated.

Why do you use the CM for this fight? It takes 3 bullets from the regular Magnum too.

I use it because this is hard mode.

Lovely quickshot with the CM - I'm thinking this strat may be a little different for the regular Magnum because you dont move backwards when it shoots, however, I think it's a faster shot than the CM, so maybe it will make up for that.

For G5, I'm not quite sure. I guess 1 rocket, 7 rounds, and 3 shotgun shells (respectively) will do the trick, since that's what I have in my notes. I'm still gonna test it.

Do you guys actually think this strat is faster than the "run, fire 1 round, run, fire 1 round, run, fire 1 round" method?

I don't run much of Leon B so I can't say so for sure, but after watching your Hard Mode strat I'm thinking there could be a way to implement quickshooting into Normal Mode to save a bit of time.
