Going for knife runs only on RE2 , any advice and help appreciated.

I could not find an edit but I forgot to put in some questions I have for running RE2 on the pc if someone could answer them soon it would be very helpful.
-Is there a way to make the BIO2 sourcenext version lab typewriter work without the saves being deleted?
-Is the knife faster in the gamecube version of RE2?
-Does anyone have a save compile for all the bosses of Leon A,B scenarios? for practice reasons.
-Any advice on knifing crocodile for RE2 , im planning on doing knife runs first , then fastest time when that is complete.
